I love how Mamta Nainy has spun a lively, childlike picture book out of a serious theme, deepening the characters with both passion and tenderness. Mamta uses just the right amount of words to give us a full measure of Aadya's sadness and her wonder at her mother's new appearance. Sanket Pethkar's illustrations are beautiful and touching. They fill our hearts with so much love that we think they would burst!
