"வடை போச்சே"(Vadai Pochae) is a colorful, beautifully illustrated, humorous, interactive board book with push, pull, slide and wheel mechanisms. It aids in hand eye co-ordination (especially Pincer grasp), fine motor skills, cognitive skills and vocabulary improvement. Written by Ramya Sethuraman and published by Agan Adhigaram, the book is based on a famous story about the fox that outwits a crow. In the story, a crow is tempted to grab a paati's vadai and fly away. The hungry, cunning fox sees the crow with the vadai in its beak and decides to trick him. The fox says, 'podu thakitaa Dhaka and entices the fox to dance. The book ends with a huge twist and of course, a quote from Thiruvaluvar and also an aphorism - don't cheat and be cheated.
We absolutely love the interactive elements of the book, the tabs and flags that we can turn and lift, perfect for little fingers and to build strength and dexterity.
