Loved, loved, loved the sequence and the plot of the story! Balu finds a basket and the story unfolds with one incident after the other. In the end, there is a fun recap of the trail of events. My daughter loved the ingenuity of the use of a basket — we can use it for so many things! We read the book in Tamil, which is our native language, and we really could connect to the expressions. She code switched beautifully between the English and Tamil versions and boy was this a good way to teach her the script. Highly recommended and we are huge Chitra Soundar fans. Her style is beautiful, clear and succinct — a true master class.
